Helen Paul recently unveiled that her employer attempted to dissuade her spouse from pursuing a relationship with her, going as far as to belittle her in his company
The popular comedienne, happily wedded to Femi Bamisile and blessed with 3 sons and 1 daughter, shared this revelation during a conversation on The Honest Bunch podcast.
“My boss called my husband to say ‘Femi, is it that kind of Helen you want to date? You’re more than this.’
“And he said, ‘No, if you want to just enjoy yourself with her, it’s OK o.'”
She continued:
“I took Femi to my own office then in TVC. My HR looked at Femi and said, ‘Look at how clean you are, a lawyer, why the choice of Helen?'”
