Wizkid’s “Made In Lagos” Sets New Record On Billboard Chart
Grammy Award winning Afrobeats superstar keeps on setting the pace for his coequals in the industry
The Nigerian whiz artist, songwriter, and performer Ayodeji Balogun, famously recognized as Wizkid has engraved his name in history once again with his recent achievement on the Billboard Chart.
The superstar singer, who was just in the news after he became the foremost Nigerian artiste to achieve a diamond certification in the USA courtesy of being a guest on Drake’s “One Dance,” after selling more than ten million units, has added another significant accomplishment to his hat.
In a fresh update, the musician’s fourth studio album, “Made in Lagos,” has now charted in the Billboard World Albums category for four straight years (2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023), spending over 100 weeks on the chart and making it the first African album to attain such an accomplishment.
