The popular Afrobeats celeb has the highest digit of streams on one of the top streaming sites, Spotify. He is the first African artiste to achieve this.

Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has hit another milestone on the multinational streaming platform Spotify.

The Nigerian act singer, songwriter and performer, who recently evolved to be the only African artist in record to expend an aggregate of 100 weeks on the Billboard World Albums Chart with his classic project ‘Made in Lagos’, has established yet another record on the streaming site.

The chart data, tweeted this information yesterday, that the Grammy-nominated musician has exceeded a whopping five billion total streams on Spotify across all credits.
