He is the first person to set a new Media record.
Despite the fact, he is now approaching the latter stages of his career, the Man Utd forward’s global fanbase continues to grow on social media.
He has established himself as one of the footballers of all time with 200 million followers in 2020 and has been able to double the number of followers within the space of 2years with PSG Lionel Messi the second most followed footballer on Instagram at 306 million followers.
