Zinoleesky Speaks After Being Released From NDLEA Detention
Zinoleesky Speaks on his NDLEA arrest after released on Instagram.
It comes after the singer was arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for drug offenses.
Reflecting on Thursday last week, NDLEA operatives raided Zinoleesky’s apartment in Lekki, Lagos State, and detained him, Mohbad, and others under the Marlian Music label.

To justify the raid, the agency claimed that they had molly and cannabis in their possession.
In viral videos, the NDLEA personnel were seen firing into the air while attacking the musician with clubs, which has drawn strong criticism from Naira Marley and other Nigerians.
After being released 48 hours after his arrest, Zinoleesky wrote on his Instagram account that there is no joy for the country anymore.
“There is no joy for the country anymore,”
He said
This isn’t the first time the agency’s operatives have raided a celebrity’s house.
The famous skit maker, DeGeneral, had his home raided in January. Despite being arrested, he was released after a court hearing.
Earlier today, Zinoleesky posted on his Instagram page with the caption “Update!”
Hi everyone! I want to thank my family and fans for their support. Following the incident that happened last week, there was a distress call in which the NDLEA responded. Unfortunately, the issue is escalated but from now on, I and my team will be fully cooperative with the NDLEA so they can finish their investigation. Say No To Drugs“
