I love Wizkid’ – Tems speaks after bizarre moment at O2 Arena

Rapidly-rising Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly recognized as Tems, has affirmed her love for Wizkid. She said this in a video that surfaced on Friday after the controversial incident which took place on Wednesday.

Wizkid came under fire after his performance with Tems at the sold-out O2 Arena show on Wednesday.
While they perform their hit song, Essence, Wizkid was detected placing his arms bellow Tems’ buttocks in a trial to lift her.

Tems, regardless, thwarted the attempt by pulling his hands away. The video has since caused a debate on Twitter as some fans accused Wizkid of sexual harassment.

However, in the video which surfaced on Friday, Tems said, “All I’m going to say is Wiz is my brother, and someone I look up to.”

“I’m grateful for all he’s done and his existence.”

“I want you guys to remember that he’s human, I’m human, and I love him, and that’s not gonna change.”
