Taking to his Instagram story, the “Unavailable” crooner vehemently denies the unfounded allegations of his apprehension, which circulated widely on April 1st.
Reassuring his followers, Davido emphasizes the falsity of the claims, highlighting the completion of his engagements in Uganda and Kenya before returning to his home country, Nigeria.
Asserting his innocence, the artist asserts that he has never faced arrest anywhere globally, including Nigeria, the United States, and numerous other nations he has traversed throughout his career.
He condemns the irresponsible spread of such fabricated accusations, particularly on April Fools’ Day.
Meanwhile, his legal representative is actively pursuing recourse against the media entities responsible for disseminating the erroneous reports.
