Nigerian Entertainment News: Mr Real Declines Davido’s Proposal to Sponsor ‘Legbegbe’ Video
Victor Okafor Uchenna, popularly known as Mr Real, a Nigerian vocalist, disclosed that he refused Davido’s proposition to finance the production of his acclaimed track, ‘Legbegbe.’
On the Terms and Conditions podcast, he elaborated on his decision, attributing it to false narratives fabricated by his peer, Idowest, within Davido’s DMW crew.
Mr Real said:
“This guy, Idowest, had gone to 30BG and said things that I didn’t say. Do you know how I found out? When I was looking for funds to shoot ‘Legbegbe’ video, Idowest and Obadice came and told me that Davido wanted to shoot the video for us.
“But I said I don’t want anyone to shoot the video for me. And the reason why was because I had already seen the green snake and everything thing he was doing.
“On a norm, how can I reject Davido’s offer to shoot my video? But as a soji guy, me I realised that they want to run me street already; una wan come complete am with the video thing, wey be say na only one scene I go show.”
