Nichole, the beautiful daughter of popular veteran Nigerian actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo, has disclosed that she and her team were discarded from a program in Africa simply because they are Nigerian citizens.

RMD’s daughter, Nichole, 35, who is the creator and managing partner of an investment management company, revealed this on Wednesday while reacting to a tweet by another Nigerian who had identical episode.

By Ann Chigbufue

 The Twitter user’s read;

“A friend was going to recommend me for a consulting role in Eswatini but because I am Nigerian it didn’t fly. These are issues people quietly keep in the dark but don’t talk about in the open. Nigerians are not loved across Africa. They’re feared and maybe respected but not loved.”

“It is a very complex matter and it doesn’t help when Nigerians rubbish other Nigerians publicly. I may criticize our government but I praise Nigerians who are trying to escape the dysfunction and doing legal work outside. It becomes harder everyday as xenophobia becomes stronger.“

Richard Mofe Damijo’s daughter reacted to the tweet saying;

“We were removed from a project after kickoff in Africa’s “best” country for being Nigerian.”

She said.

She, nonetheless, did not pinpoint the ‘best country’ in Africa where it occurred.
