Songstress Teyana Taylor has leveled accusations against her soon-to-be-ex-husband Iman Shumpert, citing underhanded tactics in their ongoing divorce dispute
In a recent legal filing, Teyana claimed that Iman systematically disrupted essential services in their shared Georgia residence, awakening to the abrupt absence of WiFi and cable, followed by a complete water outage the next day.
According to Teyana, Iman, who vacated the premises in October, conveyed through his brother, responsible for personal matters, an intention to terminate the power supply.
Allegedly, Iman has neglected financial responsibilities, failing to contribute to child support or cover basic expenses for their two children, including food and clothing expenses.
Amidst the loss of water, cable, and WiFi, concerns are raised that Iman might proceed to disconnect gas and electricity. Additionally, Teyana asserted that Iman left her to shoulder a $200,000 burden from home renovations initiated three years ago.
Despite Iman’s claim of financial entanglements in investments, he allegedly proposed that Teyana front the costs, promising reimbursement. To date, she claims not to have received any funds.
Teyana’s legal representative highlighted an existing court order, urging both parties to maintain the status quo in their shared residence and finances until the divorce concludes.
Teyana seeks court intervention, urging contempt charges against Iman for violating the order and demanding regular child support payments.
