UFC276: Israel Adesanya “Izzy” Beats Cannonier to defend His Middleweight Champion
Nigeria’s middleweight UFC fighter, Israel Adesanya has defended his Middleweight Championship with an unanimous decision by the judges against Jared Cannonier.

Adesanya who is popularly known as the style bender came against the third-ranked middleweight fighter, Jared Cannonier in one of the best fights of the year. Adesanya extended his winning streak in the UFC Middleweight to 13 which is the longest in history.
The Nigerian was able to settle into the fight from the first round as he was able to give out some kicks and punches.
Cannonier got back into the fight as he was able to get some kicks out and jabs on Adesanya. However, in the fourth and fifth rounds, the style bender took the fight to the Cannonier as he was able to ger more points.
Adesanya came into the fight to defend the middleweight championship against dangerous contender Cannonier.
Adesanya’s only career defeat came when he lost a bid to become two-division champion by jumping to light heavyweight to face then-champion Jan Blachowicz.
