Tyla heralds eponymous debut album with three new singles

In the wake of the last few months, Tyla stands as a global sensation, having savored the sweet taste of international success propelled by her chart-topping hit, Water.’ This phenomenal track has recently achieved a significant milestone by soaring into the prestigious top 10 rankings on the Billboard Hot 100 and and Top 20 on Spotify global chart, solidifying Tyla’s status as a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. Notably, her accomplishments also extend to the coveted Grammy nomination for the Best African Music Performance category.

Expanding the horizons of the track, Water, Tyla made dual remixes, collaborating with heavyweights like Travis Scott and Marshmello, amplifying the song’s already impressive reach. Yet, amidst the echoes of triumph, Tyla is not content to rest on her laurels. The South African singer-songwriter is forging ahead with unwavering momentum, unveiling not one, but three new singles: Truth or Dare, On and On, and Butterflies, all serving as heralds for her highly anticipated self-titled debut album.

Scheduled to grace the music scene on the 1st of March 2024, the Tyla album promises a rich auditory experience, comprising a total of fourteen tracks that are poised to further entrench Tyla’s position as a global force. Much like the chart-topping Water, Truth or Dare emerges as a captivating piece, a fusion of Afrobeats and R&B elements that challenges a prospective lover to rise up to her level of sophistication.
