Singer Asake Devastated As He Announces The Demise Of Concert-goer Following Show In London
Popular Afrobeat musician, Asake, disseminates the news of the death of a concert-goer of his who died on following a security breach in London, England.
It would be recollected that the musician’s concert at The O2 Brixton Academy London on Thursday suffered an interruption which resulted in a stampede at the venue.
In a recent update by the artist through his IG page, a victim, Rebecca Ikumelo, lost her life a few hours of being on medical observation.
The singer shared a long write up announcing the demise of his fan, Asake wrote;
“I am devastated by the news that Rebecca Ikumelo who was in a critical condition since Thursday has sadly passed away.
My sincerest condolences to her loved ones at this time. Let us please keep her family in our prayers. I have spoken to them and will continue to do so.
I am overwhelmed with grief and could never have imagined anything like this happening.
My team and I are still awaiting the full debrief back from the Venue management and the Police to determine what exactly led to all the disruption caused and ultimately to Rebecca’s passing.
