Nigerian Entertainment News: Kizz Daniel Responds to Alleged Detainment in Ivory Coast Over Alleged Payment Dispute and Refusal to Perform
Nigerian music sensation, Kizz Daniel, has addressed reports of his apprehension in Ivory Coast over accusations of accepting funds and declining to deliver a performance
The musician, in a statement posted on his Instagram profile, clarified that his representative had executed a contract containing the stipulation ‘no payment, no show.’
He went on to mention that he agreed to travel and perform, notwithstanding a delay in bank transfer and a guarantee of receiving his performance fee upon arrival in the country.
Kizz Daniel also divulged that he proceeded with his performance despite not receiving his compensation, but was compelled to halt after an altercation occurred backstage involving his team.
Additionally, the singer affirmed that he was not taken into custody and has since departed the nation.
