Popular songster Ayra Starr may be the most youthful sabi girl on the music setting but the celebrity is allowing us to understand that she’s had moments of indecision and was unconfident when she composed her hit song, Rush.
The chart-topping musician, and Mavin Records signee, Ayra Starr, has disclosed the state of mind she was in when she composed her most recent hit song, Rush.
Communicating this in an interview at Cool FM, the vocalist made it known that for her, the melody had been a means of comforting herself as she’d been in a position of apprehension. Starr said;
“When I made Rush, I was in a phase where I was unsure of myself. And I grew up, a confident person. I felt like everything was someone else’s idea, it wasn’t me, so I wanted to find myself, be in charge, take agency and that’s when I made Rush.”

Ayra’s Rush has soared to the zenith of the charts since its release on the 16th of September, 2022 even proceeding as far as to become the #1 song in the country for numerous days and is presently in fourth place on the Apple Music Top 100 Nigeria
