J $tash killed himself & mother of 3 in murder – suicide

Florida rapper J $tash died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on New Year’s Day after he allegedly shot and killed a woman in front of her three children.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, authorities responded to reports of domestic violence on Jan. 1, 2022, around 7:14 am, PEOPLE reports.

Authorities confirmed that inside the Temple City, California residence they found a 27-year-old female and 28-year-old male both pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was later identified as Jeanette Gallegos.

J $tash, born Justin Joseph, was famously associated with Rich the Kid as a former Rich Forever label signee.

“The female victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds, while the male victim sustained an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound,” according to officials, KTLA reports.

Lt. Derrick Alfred added that “the evidence at the scene and the preliminary information we have from the children in the home is that it’s a murder-suicide.

”Gallegos’ three children, who are between the ages of 5 and 11, were removed from the home once deputies arrived.

According to the Associated Press, one of her children called 911.Lt. Alfred notes that the couple had been dating for about a year, but $tash was not related to any of the children.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
