American iconic singer, composer, and performer, Christopher Maurice Brown, popularly known as Chris Brown, has reacted to his recent headies win.
The reputable award ceremony, which dominantly applauds excellence in the Nigerian music industry and beyond, held its 15th edition on Sunday, September 4th, 2022, at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
Brown, who has worked with a quite number of Afrobeats acts such as Davido, Rema, Wizkid, Lojay & Ayo Jay was nominated in the “International Artiste Of The Year” category, a fresh voting award category for a non-African artiste or group with the most remarkable accomplishment on Afrobeats in Nigeria.
The musician, who was nominated alongside multinational stars like Drake, Justin Bieber, Beyonce, Nas, and Ed Sheeran was announced the winner on Sunday night, the 4th of September, 2022.
After the triumph, the musician took to his IG page on Monday, September 5th, 2022, to appreciate the headies for the honor.
